Em Wise is a dynamic singer-songwriter and self-taught producer based in Boston. Raised in Saratoga, New York, Wise discovered her passion for music and art early on. With a classical background in viola and experience performing in local theater, she nurtured her musical talents before moving to Boston to attend university.

During college, Wise balanced her studies in economics with her deepening committment to music, co-founding Boston University's BassLine (est. 2022). She began arranging music for the group, and discovered a love for composing original music thereafter. In September 2024, at 22 years old, Wise launched her solo career with the release of her debut single, "Liability."

Describing music as her heartbeat, Wise invites listeners on an emotional journey through themes of love, loss, and identity. Drawing inspiration from folk, pop, classical crossover, and R&B, her soulful vocals are accompanied by guitar, viola, and layered harmonies.Her sound combines light, whimsical melodies with rich storytelling designed to captivate and move her audience.
